The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared the RBI Assistant Prelims Result 2026 on 25 May 2026. Candidates who appeared in the preliminary examination can check their qualifying status through the official RBI website.

The RBI Assistant Prelims examination was conducted on 11 April, 13 April and 30 April 2026. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the recruitment process, the RBI Assistant Mains Examination.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check their RBI Assistant Prelims Result:

1. Visit the official RBI website.
2. Go to the Recruitment / Results section.
3. Find the link for RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination Result 2026.
4. Open the result PDF.
5. Download the PDF and search for your Roll Number using Ctrl + F.
6. If your roll number appears in the list, you have been shortlisted for the Mains Examination.

The result is published in PDF format containing the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next stage.

RBI Assistant 2026 Selection Process

The RBI Assistant recruitment process consists of the following stages:

Prelims → Mains → Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination are eligible to appear for the Mains Examination. Further selection is based on the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
